Dogs Unchained is a community for NFT collectors, dog lovers & IRL dogs on the blockchain (and in the metaverse). Each Dog is an ERC-721 token with deflationary mechanics, and the supply will only decrease from 9,999: through brand new blockchain technology, you can mix two Dogs in the Boom Boom Room, selectively combine their traits, and create a single Superdog. Importantly, members will support dogs through charity when they mint, and also memorialize their amazing IRL canines in the metaverse.

The Boom Boom Room

Dogs Unchained members can mix 2 Dogs, entirely on the blockchain. Choose which of each dog's traits you'd like to keep and create the ultimate Superdog to represent yourself (or your IRL dog!). While 2 Dogs enter the Boom Boom Room, one Superdog comes out, decreasing supply forever.

9,999 IRL Dogs in the Metaverse

Dogs Unchained will host an evergreen "dog park" in the metaverse, so that your dogs can be memorizalized on the blockchain forever. Best of all, photos of your dog will be side by side with 9,998 other amazing dogs from the NFT community.

FAQ

What is the minting process?

Tokens will be minted through a blind and random mint via our custom smart contract. No FOMO ramp & flat pricing. Minters can get up to 10 at a time.

Tell me more about the art?

Each Dog has been meticulously inspected to ensure all of its traits work together in a single, beautifully representative avatar. We’ve spent hundreds of hours pouring over the Dogs to make them meet our strict standards. We combine custom shadow techniques, image masking, and combinatorial logic to ensure that each Dog is brought to life as a unique artistic work.

What's the charity aspect of the project?

A portion of minting proceeds will go to supporting dog adoption centers in the US. We’re specifically looking to provide food, medical services, and shelter for dogs in need.

25% of royalties from secondary sales for the first year will go to further charitable giving. After one year, we’ll reevaluate the split to make sure we’re best supporting the project and our charitable giving.

Why are Pumpkin & Rex creating this?

Because we’re NFT maxies, technologists, and dog lovers. Digital identity is the future and billions of people are going to be on the blockchain in the future.  They’ll want a way to present themselves and their wonderful pups to the world. We wanted to make a timeless project that memorialized the best of humans and the dogs they cherish.
